Public liability - for Craft

My external public liability insurance covers our trade, against personal, property and financial damage.

When is public liability insurance important?

Public liability is to be concluded with every order. The insurance period only applies in conjunction with the ordered scope of services and allocation to just:

• one order-number
• one customer
• one location

Further orders or extended work performance do not include the public liability.

Personal injury
If a Person is killed or injured, the public liability usually secures liability. This should not involve strangers who intervene or want to change craftsmanship and, among other things, technical safety rules have been disregarded by persons who have suffered damage. Details can be found in the contract.

Property and financial damage
Any cautious employee or entrepreneur can damage property or injure someone while working. Business liability insurance applies in these cases.

Sum insured
This package usually includes a flat rate of usualy 2,000,000.00 €, which can be split up with a deductible depending on the claim. Details are contained in the insurance conditions.

This package is not a insurance contract with you and not a product of a financial service provider. The insurance certificate will be issued and provided once we have received orders and payments.
